Delete Your Account
You have the right to delete your Family Safety account and all associated personal
data at any time. Follow the steps below or contact us directly.

Option 1 — Delete from the App
The quickest way to delete your account is directly inside the Family Safety app:
- Open the Family Safety app on your device.
- Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar.
- Scroll down and tap Settings.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Read the confirmation message and tap Confirm Delete.
Your account and all personal data will be queued for deletion immediately upon confirmation.
Option 2 — Request by Email
If you cannot access the app or prefer to request deletion manually, send an email to our support team:
Please include the following information in your email:
- Subject line: Account Deletion Request
- The email address associated with your Family Safety account
- Your registered display name (if known)
We will process your request within 30 days and send a confirmation once deletion is complete.
What Data Is Deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:
- Your profile information (name, photo, display name)
- Authentication credentials and linked sign-in accounts (Google, Facebook)
- All location history and movement records
- Safe zone configurations you created
- Circle memberships and group associations
- Emergency alert history
- In-app notification preferences and settings
- Device tokens and push notification registrations
Data That May Be Retained
Certain data may be retained after account deletion for the following reasons:
- Legal obligations: We may keep minimal records if required by law (e.g., billing records, fraud prevention logs) for up to 90 days.
- Aggregated analytics: Non-identifiable, aggregated usage data that cannot be linked back to you may be retained indefinitely.
- Backup systems: Deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before being purged from all backup stores.
Effect on Other Members
Important: Deleting your account will remove you from all Circles you belong to.
Other members of those Circles will no longer see your location or receive alerts about you.
Circles you created and administered will be dissolved unless another member is promoted to administrator beforehand.
If you are the only administrator of a Circle, consider transferring ownership or notifying other members before deleting your account.
Subscriptions and Purchases
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. To avoid future charges, cancel your subscription through the platform before deleting your account:
- iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Family Safety → Cancel
- Android: Google Play → Subscriptions → Family Safety → Cancel
Refunds for unused subscription periods are subject to the applicable platform's refund policy. We are unable to issue refunds directly.
Reactivation
Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered. You are welcome to create a new account at any time, but previous data, history, circles, and settings cannot be restored.
